The FSC-18-2 Drop Out Fuse Cutout is an overcurrent protection device designed for 24~27kV overhead distribution systems. It safeguards transformers, capacitors, cables, and distribution lines against damage caused by short circuits and overload conditions. When a fault occurs, the fuse link melts and the fuse tube drops out, providing a visible isolation break. Constructed with high-quality brass, silver or tin-plated copper conductive parts, and porcelain or polymer insulators, this cutout complies with IEC60282-2 and delivers reliable performance in outdoor environments.

The fuse cutout features a robust main bearing structure designed to withstand mechanical stress and ensure long-term operational stability. It integrates the upper and lower contact assemblies with the main load-bearing framework, providing reliable support for the fuse tube and ensuring proper alignment during operation and dropout action.

The cutout comes complete with a lower general bearing assembly, an arc extinguishing housing, an American-type knife-blade fusible load, and a 300A fusible load, providing all essential components for installation and reliable operation.
