FSC-22-3 Drop Out Fuse Cutout

The FSC-22-3 Drop Out Fuse Cutout is a high-voltage protection device rated for 33~36kV overhead distribution systems. It safeguards transformers, capacitors, cables, and distribution lines by interrupting fault currents during short-circuit and overload events. Upon fuse link melting, the fuse tube drops open to provide a clear visible isolation gap, simplifying fault identification and circuit sectionalizing. Constructed with a durable fiberglass fuse tube, silver or tin-plated copper conductive parts, and selectable porcelain or polymer insulators, this cutout is fully compliant with IEC60282-2 for reliable outdoor service.

The fuse cutout features a main bearing structure that provides stable support and precise alignment of the fuse tube, along with a secondary bearing structure that enhances load capacity and ensures secure electrical contact during operation.

The fuse cutout is equipped with a lower general bearing for stable fuse tube support, an arc extinguishing housing for safe fault interruption, an American type fusible load with knife for load-breaking and visible isolation, and a 300A fusible load for reliable high-current protection.
