The Y5(10)W-12 is a gapless metal-oxide surge arrester for 12kV overhead distribution systems. It clamps lightning impulse residual voltage to 36kV and switching impulse to 31.7kV. Housed in a hydrophobic polymer jacket, it resists pollution and moisture. Available with 5kA or 10kA discharge ratings and varistor diameters from 35mm to 42mm, it suits varied lightning environments. Class 1/Class 2, Design B per IEC 60099-4.
